Banks Music is the UK’s premier music shop. Founded in 1756 it shares a birthday with Mozart and is now in its third century of music retailing.

With over 10,000 sq. feet of retail space, Banks has one of the largest selections of musical instruments, accessories, sheet music, examination material, tutor methods and instructional DVDs available in the world. It also houses a specialist classical CD department and a dedicated digital and stage piano showroom.

Banks has a staff of 25 music professionals with over 150 years of combined experience. Our experienced and enthusiastic staff will take you every step of the way from novice to virtuoso with our vast range of musical instruments and dedicated focus on musical tuition.

We have finance and interest free credit programmes in place to ensure we find you an instrument to suit your personal style as well as your pocket.
