Band Department Manager | ||
| Mr John Cocker took up the post of Band Department Manager over 5 years ago. He began his long association with Wind and Brass music, over 30 years in the Military. He trained at Kneller Hall as a Flautist, and then went on to become Band Sergeant Major, gaining experience in all aspects of musicianship. | |||

Miss Diane Parry is the assistant of this department. She began playing the clarinet at the age of 6 and later took up the saxophone and flute. She then went on to attend the Birmingham Conservatoire. She joined the Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra and other national bands as well as being a musical teacher. | ||
